Always Half Full

Can you think of anyone who appears to have an optimistic outlook on life and who is perpetually cheerful? Their calm demeanor and ability to handle life's challenges belie the barrage of problems they are also facing. Do you wish you could handle your challenges the way they do?

Some people just have a "half full glass" attitude toward life; they can find the silver lining even when everything seems to be falling apart around them. Although some people seem to be naturally born with this outlook on life, the vast majority of people who share this view developed and learned it.
The key is to train yourself to intentionally  focus on the good things rather than the bad things that happen in your life.

Sounds easy when it’s on paper, but in the reality of life, it’s usually not. How do people learn to focus on the half-full glass and not the half-empty one and remain positive?
It’s not easy to be thankful when faced with difficult circumstances. Gratitude is a virtue that is not easily attained in trying times. However, practicing gratitude help us deal with all but the most difficult experiences we may face in our lives. It is the key to the optimism that we see in the positive person we admire so much.

On the other hand, complaining can turn us into less happy individuals in no time at all. It makes us narrow-minded and unable to perceive the whole scenario.
Instead of concentrating on the negative and dwell on the setbacks, we should try to look into the side of possibility and opportunities. silver lining somewhere?

Positive outlook, definitely, is in this case not the same as denial. It is wearing a new set of glasses and 

Maintaining an attitude of gratitude helps us maintain a positive perspective on most things that happen in our life. It helps to keep the glass half-full even in the most difficult of circumstances.
